At Call-Log Pro (com.log.deletedcalls) (referred to as “we”, “our”, “us”), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use and protect that information, and how you can control it.
By using Call-Log Pro (“the App”), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you use our App:
- Call Log Data: The App reads your device’s call log (call number, type, duration, date, SIM information, and call-log entry IDs) solely to provide its backup, restore, export, and deleted-call-detection features. Call log data is processed on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
- Backup Files: When you create a backup, the resulting
.bak file is written to your device’s Downloads folder. These files remain on your device unless you choose to share or move them yourself.
- Device Information: We may collect information about the device you are using, such as device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and crash data, primarily through Google Firebase and Google Ads.
- App Usage Data: We may collect anonymous analytics regarding how you interact with the App through Google Firebase Analytics to help improve functionality.
- Purchase Information: If you subscribe to our Pro plan, purchase and subscription data is processed and managed by RevenueCat, Inc. and Google Play. We do not directly collect or store your payment details.
2. Use of Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its deleted-call-detection, backup, restore, and export features.
- To analyze anonymous app usage through Firebase Analytics and enhance the user experience.
- To display Google ads within the App, which helps us provide the service free of charge. Pro subscribers do not see ads.
- To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases through RevenueCat and Google Play.
3. Google Ads
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (banner, interstitial, and app-open ad formats) to serve advertisements to free-tier users. Google may collect and use certain information about your use of the App to serve personalized advertisements. Google’s advertising practices are governed by its own Privacy Policy. Users who subscribe to the Pro plan are not served any ads.
4. Firebase Analytics
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views, session counts, and general device information. This data is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the App. Firebase’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The App offers optional paid subscriptions under the entitlement “Deleted Calls Checker & Backup Pro”, including monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans. Subscriptions are processed through Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data, device identifiers, and subscription status to facilitate purchase management. RevenueCat’s privacy practices are governed by its own Privacy Policy.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share any personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the App’s functionality:
- Google Ads: Ad-related data for serving advertisements (free-tier users only).
- Google Firebase: Anonymous analytics and crash data.
- RevenueCat: Anonymous purchase and subscription data for managing in-app purchases.
- Google Play: Payment processing for subscriptions and purchases.
Your call log contents and backup files are never shared or transmitted. They remain on your device at all times.
7. Permissions
The App requests the following Android permissions, each used solely for the stated purpose:
- READ_CALL_LOG / WRITE_CALL_LOG: To read your call history for backup, detection, and export; and to restore entries from a backup file back into the system call log.
- READ_PHONE_STATE / READ_PHONE_NUMBERS: To read SIM slot information so multi-SIM devices display the correct SIM label for each call.
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (Android 13 and below) To save backup files to your Downloads folder and read backup files you import.
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required by Google Ads, Firebase, and RevenueCat.
- com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Required by Google Mobile Ads to serve advertisements to free-tier users.
- com.android.vending.BILLING: Required by Google Play Billing for subscription purchases.
8. Security
We strive to implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke the App’s permissions at any time through your device’s Settings.
- Delete any backup files created by the App directly from your device’s Downloads folder.
- Opt out of personalized ads by visiting Google Ad Settings.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play Store settings or the in-app Customer Center.
- Request information about the data we process by contacting us directly.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
